Cryptanthus Bromeliad (earth star)

Cryptanthus bromeliads, more commonly known as earth stars due to rosette-shaped arrangement of the leaves and their low growth habit. Although these plants look a lot like desert plants, they are actually derived from Brazil and prefer humid conditions and to be kept fairly damp.
