Ludisia discolor is a terrestrial orchid, commonly referred to as the "Jewel Orchid". These orchids produce small white flowers that bloom intermittently but are prized for their dark, velvety foliage. These hardy plants are easy to grow and make a great accent plant for any collection.
Please note: Ludisia grow from thick rhizomatous stems, and the actual root system is very small. Because of that, it's important not to let your jewel orchids completely dry out.
