To use Gnat Defense effectively, generously apply a 1/2” thick layer on top of the soil, ensuring that no soil is visible. It's important to note that the product loses effectiveness when it becomes wet. Once applied, let Gnat Defense work its magic! When the gnats or their larvae come into contact with it, it acts as if they were crawling through crushed glass.

For optimal results, it is recommended to use Gnat Defense continuously for up to a month. Additionally, it is advisable to bottom water your plants while using Gnat Defense to avoid saturation of the product. When no more gnats are present, gently scrape off any access Gnat Defense off the top of the soil, or simply water it through.
