Stainless Steel Soil Probe

Using a soil probe takes away the guesswork, and allows you to visually analyze the soil.

Insert the pointed end into the soil and push down, slightly twist the probe and slowly pull up. The probe will show a sample of the soil at several layers allowing you to see and feel the moisture levels throughout the pot. Darker soil contains more water, lighter colored soil is dry.
