Wild Coffee Plant

The Wild Coffee Plant can tolerate longer hours of sunlight but will show some signs of stress in full sun. Though the Wild Coffee Plant (or Psychotria Nervosa) has berries, its beans won’t reward you with a great-tasting cup o’ joe. Its berries appear in summer after small white spring flowers (a favorite of birds and bees) ripen to red. The beans contain no caffeine, but can be roasted and consumed for a coffee-like beverage.
